About

In the Scots Gaelic its taistealaichethe, in Irish Gaelic its siubhal and it means to travel and be a traveller.  I was fortunate in the summer of 2016 to travel to Scotland and meet a few of it’s wonderful people. Of course that meant that I would have to try to meet more the next time I went. Join me as I plan my next trip to Scotland for summer 2017 and also a hop to Ireland. Why, because it’s in the blood.

This is a travel blog encompassing my adventures and various travel musings. In it you will find mostly travels to the UK and Ireland, but hopefully that big trip to Japan and New Zealand will not be too far behind.

The insights and reviews are my own, but occasionally I may republish other travel bloggers articles that I feel are relevant to helping anyone else out there who want’s to travel in the paths of their ancestors.
